I am happily offering my dog services to your dog who lives around or near the Ballard area in Seattle, WA. My service specializes in conveniently coming to your home and leaving it with a dog that is clean, comfortable, and feeling beautiful.
My philosophy is humanity before vanity— I respect your pet’s needs and use my knowledge of positive reinforcement and gentle handling to make grooming a more enjoyable, less stressful experience.
I received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree at the University of California San Diego in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and a Minor in Psychology. I am Pet First Aid and CPR-Certified, Certified by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT)- Knowledge Assessed, and have been bringing my knowledge to my grooming and dog training for 10+ years. I regularly attend both grooming and dog training conventions, seminars, and workshops as well as continually read books and materials to complement my self-education. I have previously served as intern at AHIMSA , Companion Animal Solutions, San Diego County Animal Shelter- Southern region, and Project Wildlife.
*Fun facts: One of my very first jobs as a teenager was food service at the World-Famous San Diego Zoo! Additionally, I worked on the research team of Professor James Nieh, gathering data for work published in scientific journals on the evolution of foraging communication and behavior in social bees. As you can tell, I’ve always loved animals!
Sun-Thurs ranging from 10am-8pm
